Common eyelid conditions
We diagnose and treat conditions affecting the eyelids, including:
- Chalazion and styes (lumps and blocked glands)
- Ptosis (drooping upper eyelid)
- Ectropion (the eyelid turning outwards)
- Entropion (the eyelid turning inwards, with lashes rubbing the eye)
- Eyelid skin lesions, cysts and growths
- Tear duct problems and watery eyes
Treatment
Treatment ranges from simple in-clinic procedures to oculoplastic surgery, usually performed under local anaesthetic. Where a lesion is removed, it can be sent for testing to confirm it is not a concern.
Dr Yi Wei Goh subspecialises in oculoplastics and will recommend the most appropriate option for your eyelids and your comfort.
